2009 Socials

Calendar widget to come!!!

The ERURS has typically had 4-6 social activities every year: wine tasting, horse races, golf tournament, cook-off, and of course, the AGM. Starting in 2009, we are aiming to have a members and partners social every month, except December. The additions include a President’s Social and very importantly a Partner Appreciation Party in the fall. All events will be cost-recovery activities (cost / participants = $ fee to each participant).

January

  • Tuesday, Jan 13/09 — Introduction of socials being after every Education Seminar happened at the Clan Clubhouse. We had much to cover with the first session of the ELVs, but there was great conversation before and after the learning.

February

  • Tuesday, Feb 10/09 — Education Seminar casual at the Clan Clubhouse.
  • Feb 14-15/09 — San Diego 7s group trip. Please contact Don Whidden and Mike Laporte to get involved. And the deadline for the group trip planning was Saturday, Jan 17/09.
  • Saturday, Feb 28/09 — 3:00-5:00pm the ERURS 2008 AGM at Ellerslie Rugby Park. Dinner and social starts at 6:00pm. Please RSVP to the ERURS Secretary by Friday, Feb 13/09. Thanks.

March

April

  • Tuesday, Apr 14/09 — Education Seminar casual at the Clan Clubhouse.

May

June

  • Tuesday, June 9/09 — Education Seminar casual at the Clan Clubhouse.
  • Thursday, June 11/09 — a well wishes get-together for Wayne at Brewsters South, 111 Str & 23 Ave..
  • Saturday, June 13/09 — a send off party for Shunko at Scotty’s place (email me for directions).

July

  • Friday, July 10/09 — informal social with five referees and the signage crew at ERP.
  • Saturday, July 11/09 — CAN v USA international rugby game at ERP, certainly to be a fun time during and after the game!!.
  • Tuesday, July 14/09 — Education Seminar casual at the Clan Clubhouse.

August

  • Tuesday, August 18/09 — THIRD Tuesday this month…Education Seminar casual at the Clan Clubhouse.

September

  • Tuesday, September 8/09 — Education Seminar casual at the Clan Clubhouse.
  • Saturday, September 12/09 — Finals after-party at the pub on Ellerslie Rd NW, north side, off 99 Str (Parsons).

A committee lead by the VP Marketing will be arranging the dates and activities. Stay tuned.
