The role of the ERURS President is such that the President shall:
- Preside at all internal meetings, enforce discipline, and observance of the By-laws, and decide all questions of order during meetings.
- Act as the coordinator and as an official representative of the organization.
- Have the authority to call Special Meetings.
- Attend, or appoint other officers to attend, any meeting within the Edmonton Rugby Union (ERU), or meeting otherwise affecting the ERURS.
- Have signing authority on all documents or monies pertaining to the Society.
- At Board meetings and General Meetings vote only in case of a tie.
- Appoint special committees subject to the approval of the rest of the Board members.
- In the absence of the President, the VP Marketing shall exercise the aforementioned responsibilities.
