ERURS VP Development

The role of the ERURS VP Development is such that VP Development shall:

  1. Formulate and enact a plan for the identification and development of referees who want to advance their development, and work with the Allocations Officer to implement said plan.
  2. Formulate and enact a plan for recruitment of referees to the Society.
  3. Ensure ALL Match Officials are graded within competency standards defined by Rugby Canada.
  4. Ensure the training and development of qualified Coaches and Assessors.
  5. Ensure proper and regular mentoring, coaching, and assessments are performed.
  6. Note: the VP Development shall not be in charge of the allocation of the referees.
  7. In the absence of the VP development, the Secretary shall exercise the aforementioned responsibilities.
