The role of the ERURS President is such that the President shall:

1. Preside at all internal meetings, enforce discipline, and observance of the By-laws, and decide all questions of order during meetings.
2. Act as the coordinator and as an official representative of the organization.
3. Have the authority to call Special Meetings.
4. Attend, or appoint other officers to attend, any meeting within the Edmonton Rugby Union (ERU), or meeting otherwise affecting the ERURS.
5. Have signing authority on all documents or monies pertaining to the Society.
6. At Board meetings and General Meetings vote only in case of a tie.
7. Appoint special committees subject to the approval of the rest of the Board members.
8. In the absence of the President, the VP Marketing shall exercise the aforementioned responsibilities.
